Virtual Account
Every Sandbox account is issued a unique Virtual Bank Account to add funds. You can easily top up your Sandbox Wallet using UPI, IMPS, NEFT, or RTGS bank transfers. Once funds are added, your Wallet automatically pays for APIs that incur wallet charges.Wallet Balance
Your Sandbox Wallet functions like a virtual bank account where you deposit funds and pay for APIs that incur wallet charges. To give you an accurate view of your available funds, Sandbox provides two balance indicators: Effective Balance and Closing Balance.Effective Balance
The Effective Balance is the amount displayed on the Console. It reflects the actual spendable balance after accounting for any pending deductions: Effective Balance = Closing Balance – Unbilled Charges This ensures you always see the real amount available for API usage.Closing Balance
The Closing Balance represents the total actual funds in your wallet’s virtual bank account, much like the closing balance shown in a traditional bank statement. You can view your Closing Balance anytime through viewing your Wallet Statement.
Wallet charges
Certain APIs incur an additional per-call charge that is deducted from your wallet. These charges are separate from your subscription fee, as an active subscription is required to access Sandbox APIs. Wallet charges cover the following expenses:- Upstream vendor fees (Banks, GSPs, Account Aggregators, TIN FCs, etc.)
- Licensing charges
- IP-related charges
- Credit, Email, or SMS charges
