# PAN verification workbook for token-based requests

> Read the JSON result workbook for token-based TRACES bulk PAN verification, including report-order serial numbers and source PAN statuses.

The `pan_verification_workbook` contains one `payee_sheet` with one `payee_table` in [Sheet JSON format](https://developer.sandbox.co.in/guides/developer-resources/sheet_json.md).

## Output columns

The table header is `["sr_no", "pan", "pan_status"]`. Each row contains these values in the same order.

| Column | Type | Description |
| :- | :- | :- |
| `sr_no` | Integer | Serial number starting at `1` in TRACES report order. |
| `pan` | String | The PAN returned in the TRACES report. |
| `pan_status` | String | The PAN status text returned by TRACES. |

The workbook contains only PANs returned by TRACES. A PAN absent from the report is omitted. Output serial numbers do not preserve the input `sr_no` values.

PAN status text is returned unchanged. Values can include `Valid and Operative`, `Valid and Inoperative`, `Valid`, `Inactive`, and `Invalid`. Treat `Valid` and `Valid and Operative` as distinct values.

## Download the workbook

When [Get TRACES PAN verification status](https://developer.sandbox.co.in/api-reference/tds/compliance/pan-verification/endpoints/poll_verification.md) returns `data.output_json_url`, use that URL to download the JSON workbook. The signed URL is valid for 24 hours. Generated files are retained for 30 days.

Omit the Sandbox `Authorization` and `x-api-key` headers when downloading the file. The signed URL authorizes the download.
